Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lord Frieza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jordan Miller!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frieza fails with the takedown
and Miller counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Frieza fails to land the takedown.
Frieza fails with an attempt to clinch.
Miller is looking for the big counter here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frieza tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Miller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Miller lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Frieza is looking to clinch but Miller is avoiding it.
Frieza darts in looking for a takedown but Miller gets double underhooks and turns Frieza into the cage.
Miller is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lord Frieza. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Frieza lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Miller circles away quickly and effectively.
Frieza wants to clinch
and Miller counters with a series of strikes. Frieza will be more careful next time no doubt.
Frieza digs a good body shot into Miller's ribs.
Frieza gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Miller counters by moving into the clinch.
Frieza wants to stall.

Miller keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Frieza's efforts to push away.
Frieza escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Miller shapes to counter with a head kick.
Frieza fails with an attempt to clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Frieza misses the target.
As Frieza backs off Miller throws a huge counter combo but Frieza manages to avoid it all.

Frieza throws a solid leg kick but Miller takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Frieza.

and Miller counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Miller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Frieza thows a leg kick but Miller checks it
and Miller counters with a one-two to the body.
Oooooh!!! Frieza has knocked Miller down with a huge combo! Frieza steps away and waves a wobbly Miller back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Miller is rocked!
It looks like Jordan Miller has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A solid leg kick lands there for Frieza.
Miller is still on wobbly legs! Can Frieza finish him?
Miller walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Miller limp body while Frieza jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lord Frieza!
An out of breath Lord Frieza thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
