Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ingvar Ingesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sato comes to the cage accompanied by True Survivor - David Hasselhoff. Ingesson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sail - AWOLNATION kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kenji Sato has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ingvar Ingesson!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ingesson slips under a jab from Sato.
A decent looking cross lands there for Sato.
Sato misses with a double jab
and Ingesson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Sato appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Sato seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ingesson slips a jab and a cross from Sato.

Sato ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ingesson moves away.

Sato tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ingesson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sato slips under a jab from Ingesson.
Sato looks to land a combination but Ingesson avoids it well.
Sato throws a good cross that connects.
Sato uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ingesson.
Sato lands with a nice body punch.

Sato connects with a looping right hand.
Sato swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sato looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ingesson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Ingesson misses with a combination
and Sato counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ingesson's knee momentarily.
Sato cracks Ingesson with a good jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sato throws a low kick but it's checked well by Ingesson.

Ingesson thuds a left hand into Sato's body.
A swing and a miss from Ingesson.
Sato tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sato ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Sato throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sato takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sato thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ingesson if he has to take too many more of those.

and Ingesson counters with a nice right hand that sends Sato toppling to the canvas! Sato scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Ingesson finish him?!


Sato is rocked!
Ingesson dances in with a quick combination. Sato is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Ingesson snaps Sato's head back. Sato stumbles backwards against the cage. Ingesson steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Sato's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Sato just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ingvar Ingesson!
After the big win, Ingvar Ingesson made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Sin City Allstars and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
