Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ezio Franco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franco's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, BASS. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ezio Franco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ben Richards!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franco tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Richards paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Franco shoots and misses
and Richards counters with a single leg into guard. Franco didn't expect that.
Richards wants to control from the top but Franco keeps moving.
Franco wants to stand but Richards is controlling the position.
Richards chips away with some ground and pound.
Franco definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Richards's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Franco looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Richards scoring with punches to the head and body.
Franco is looking to stand up but Richards isn't so interested in that idea.
Richards trying to control but Franco is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Richards working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Richards trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Richards has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Richards sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Franco lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Richards bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Franco's guard.
Franco is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Richards distracts Franco with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Franco is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Richards throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Richards with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Franco wants to get back to his feet but Richards is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Franco keeping moving, preventing Richards from controlling successfully.
Richards stands up over Franco, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Richards working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Richards chips away with some ground and pound.
Franco is rocked!
Richards gets to his feet and stands over Franco, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Franco felt that one! Richards unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Franco from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Richards!
