Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tribbiani Joey!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anton Kruglov!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Kruglov.
Kruglov lands a jab to the nose.
Joey fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kruglov throws a predictable looking body shot
and Joey counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Joey is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kruglov swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Joey blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Joey takes a knee to the side of the body.
Kruglov manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kruglov swings for the body but Joey moves out of range.
Joey walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kruglov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Joey tries to counter by clinching up but Kruglov breaks away and moves out of range.
Kruglov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kruglov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The fighters circling - Kruglov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Joey blocks a leg kick.
Joey seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Anton Kruglov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kruglov connects with a looping right hand.
Kruglov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Joey has time to react.
Joey is rocked!
Kruglov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Joey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kruglov throws a monster overhand right that drops Joey! Kruglov follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anton Kruglov!

Anton Kruglov decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
The defeated Tribbiani Joey had this to say: 'Wait a minute... I paid off the Judges and the Ref. How the hell did this happen!?'.
