Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between JD Dayley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diomar Dirksz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dirksz's choice of entrance music: Everything. JD Dayley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dayley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dayley displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dirksz.
Dirksz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dayley appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Dirksz's coach down at Club Savage MMA Tokyo was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dirksz's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
JD Dayley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diomar Dirksz.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Dayley is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Dayley has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Dirksz to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Dayley is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Dirksz pulls down on the head and he's put Dayley to sleep! This one is all over!

Diomar Dirksz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
