The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Badger closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Tajko gets back to full guard.
Badger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tajko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tajko wants to sweep but no luck.
Badger throws a big right hand that misses.
Badger postures up and lands a big shot to Tajko's brow.

Tajko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tajko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tajko has his foot on Badger's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Badger works his way back into a safe position though.

Badger throws an elbow that misses. Tajko uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Badger's guard. Nice move by Tajko!

Badger wants to get back to his feet but Tajko is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
