Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cyril Wilkinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chhedi Dusra!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dusra lands a body shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dusra gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dusra rushes Wilkinson and presses him up against the cage.
Wilkinson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Dusra gets control of Wilkinson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dusra will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Wilkinson distracts Dusra with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Dusra manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wilkinson manages to get himself to full guard.

Dusra seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Dusra gets to his feet - Wilkinson follows without any prompting.

Wilkinson tries to pull guard but Dusra forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Dusra throws a lazy head kick

and Wilkinson counters with a takedown into side control.
Dusra is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Wilkinson prevents Dusra from escaping the position.
Dusra is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wilkinson off and has taken his back!
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Dusra.
Dusra wants to control but Wilkinson is keeping busy.
Wilkinson tries to escape but Dusra has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Dusra looking to break Wilkinson's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Wilkinson remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Dusra will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Wilkinson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Dusra just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Wilkinson is trying to stand back up.

Wilkinson is trying to get back to his feet but Dusra has full control of the position and if anything, Wilkinson has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dusra is hanging on to Wilkinson's back as he tries to escape.
Dusra looking to hold on to the position here but Wilkinson rolls and ends up regaining guard.

Dusra avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dusra with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dusra trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilkinson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wilkinson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wilkinson is looking to stand up but Dusra isn't so interested in that idea.

Dusra throws an elbow that misses. Wilkinson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dusra's guard. Nice move by Wilkinson!

Wilkinson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dusra is proving hard to escape from.
Dusra throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Dusra has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Dusra wants to sweep but no luck.
Wilkinson wanted to stand there but Dusra had control of the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Dusra. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Dusra is just content to waste time from the top position. Wilkinson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Wilkinson wants to get back to his feet but Dusra is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Wilkinson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Wilkinson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dusra gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dusra stands and steps away. Wilkinson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Chhedi Dusra showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Dusra misses with a head kick.

Dusra closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dusra is looking to stall here but Wilkinson recovers full guard.
Dusra not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Wilkinson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Wilkinson is looking for a triangle but Dusra pushes his legs off easily.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dusra must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dusra is on top in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dusra accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dusra tries a low kick but Wilkinson avoids it.
As Dusra looks to move away, Wilkinson throws a big counter combo but Dusra just gets out of the way.

Dusra has taken the fight to the clinch.

Wilkinson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Dusra decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wilkinson is looking to get back to is feet but Dusra passes into side control.
Dusra taking a break here but Wilkinson is having none of it and regains half guard.
Dusra wants to control but Wilkinson is keeping him busy.

I would just about give that final round to Chhedi Dusra.
Well Dusra has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
