Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kim Foley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexx Andersson!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Darius Henderson and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andersson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Foley on his heels. He'll look to pass Foley's guard now, I'm sure.
Andersson trying to control the position from guard on top but Foley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Andersson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Foley with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Andersson can't handle though.

Foley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Foley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Andersson's half guard.
Andersson has hold of Foley's hands but Foley slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Foley thows a huge punch but Andersson dodges it nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Foley winds up and cracks Andersson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Foley connects with a nice short shot to Andersson's temple.

Foley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Andersson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Foley is nestled in close to Andersson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Foley is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Andersson controlling the action here.

Andersson decides to stand and escape the position.
Foley doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Andersson counters with a nice body shot.
Andersson throws a head kick that misses.
Foley is looking to counter the offense by Andersson and move into the clinch.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Andersson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Foley to his feet.
Foley avoids the head kick by Andersson.
As Andersson tries to get set, Foley tries to push him back and clinch up but Andersson manages to avoid the attempt.

Andersson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Foley sprawls well initially but Andersson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Foley is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Andersson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Andersson's back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Can Andersson hold on?! Foley is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Andersson swats away the attempt to clinch by Foley.

Andersson wants the takedown. Foley is fighting it off but Andersson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Foley's guard against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Alexx Andersson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Andersson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
