Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Metaxas gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Metaxas misses with a short punch on the inside.
Impallomeni misses with a short punch on the inside.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Impallomeni has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Metaxas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Impallomeni circles away quickly and effectively.

Metaxas darts in and clinches Impallomeni up against the cage.

Impallomeni shoots for a takedown but Metaxas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Impallomeni looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Metaxas is fending him off so far but Impallomeni persists. Nope, Metaxas circles away and we're back to standing.
Metaxas shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Atlas Metaxas has been cut.

Atlas Metaxas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zenone Impallomeni.
Impallomeni bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Metaxas comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Impallomeni falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Impallomeni was out before he hit the floor!
