The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jatt throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tran. Jatt does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tran with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Jatt takes a swing at Tran's ribcage but misses.

Jatt throws a looping overhand right but Tran ducks down to avoid it.

Jagga Jatt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tran misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jatt.
Jatt tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Tran manages to circle out of the way.

Jatt throws a jab but it's blocked by Tran.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tran throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Jatt cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jatt jabs Tran right on the nose. Tran blinks but takes it well.

and Jatt counters with a stiff right hand.

Jatt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tran ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jatt moves away.
As Tran tries to get set, Jatt tries to push him back and clinch up but Tran manages to avoid the attempt.
Jatt misses with an uppercut.
Jatt throws a right and a left that Tran avoids nicely.
Jatt avoids the body shot from Tran.
Jatt misses with a hook. Tran ducked under it nicely.
Jatt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tran sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tran let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Jatt dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Tran fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jatt manages to avoid it.

Jatt is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Tran shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jatt napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Jatt takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Jatt is trying to control Tran's posture but Tran avoids it.
Tran connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Jatt some visible discomfort.

Jatt on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Jatt is rocked!
Jatt gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Oh Jatt is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tran cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jatt in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Tran! Jatt is hurt baaadly! Tran is firing away with more strikes - Jatt is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Tran!
After the fight, Robert Tran was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
