Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keenan Coffey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shawn Griffin has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Keenan Coffey's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keenan Coffey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Griffin.
Coffey wants to get back to his feet but Griffin drags him back down.
A bit of a lull in the action here.

Griffin remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Coffey is looking to control Griffin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Coffey avoid being mounted?
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

It looked like Coffey was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

That was a close second round but I would say that Keenan Coffey will probably get the nod.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

I would just about give that final round to Shawn Griffin.
Well Griffin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
