Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Geronimo Apache (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brick Tamlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Apache comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the Tiger. Brick Tamlan has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Chris Dean and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apache fails with a takedown attempt.
Apache throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tamlan wants to counter with a clinch but Apache pushes him away.
Tamlan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Apache misses with a straight left.
Apache tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tamlan defends well and Apache ends up having to push Tamlan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Tamlan changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Apache tries a head kick but it misses.
Apache swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tamlan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Apache.
Tamlan tries to counter by closing the distance.
Apache throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tamlan on the side of the head.
Apache is looking to score with low kicks.

Apache clinches up with Tamlan and pushes him back against the cage.

Tamlan is looking for a takedown.
Tamlan tries to pull guard but Apache holds him up against the cage and eventually Tamlan drops back down to his feet.
We've been hearing reports that Apache has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A nice right hand lands inside from Apache.
Apache controlling the action here for a moment.
Tamlan drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Geronimo Apache has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brick Tamlan.
Tamlan wants a takedown.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Tamlan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Apache pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Tamlan is trying to pull guard but Apache turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Apache lands an elbow inside that Tamlan shrugs off.

It looks like Brick Tamlan has been cut.

Tamlan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Apache gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Apache creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Tamlan's defenses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tamlan is trying to drag Apache to the mat but Apache just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Tamlan takes a knee right on the jaw!
Apache lands a damaging elbow.

That has opened up Brick Tamlan's cut even more.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Apache.
Apache gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

The cut above Brick Tamlan's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Tamlan jumps into guard, dragging Apache to the mat.
Apache stands up over Tamlan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Apache lands a couple of elbows.

Brick Tamlan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Brick Tamlan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
