Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mack Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fyodor Zegrab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fyodor Zegrab has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zegrab gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Mack wants to sweep but no luck.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mack might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mack could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Zegrab takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Zegrab closes the distance and pushes Mack back into the cage.
Zegrab slows down the pace here.

Zegrab drags the fight down to the ground.
Mack with a flurry of punches that miss.

Zegrab working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mack doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mack manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Zegrab utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zegrab can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mack connects with a couple of short punches.
Mack trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Zegrab is looking for a triangle but Mack pushes his legs off easily.
Mack wants to stand and escape but instead Zegrab has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Zegrab is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mack's half guard.
Zegrab wants to pass to mount but Mack is defending the position.
Zegrab working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Mack manages to get to full guard.
Zegrab sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Mack is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Zegrab is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Zegrab must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Mack trying to keep a closed guard but Zegrab is proving a slippery customer.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mack tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Zegrab stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mack swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Zegrab gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mack regains guard.

Zegrab is working Mack over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Zegrab makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Zegrab wants to stand but Mack has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Zegrab is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Zegrab's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Zegrab stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Zegrab instigates a clinch.

Zegrab escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mack doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Zegrab counters with a crisp one two that drops Mack! Zegrab thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mack to his feet! Mack is in big trouble!

Mack is rocked!
Zegrab tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oh Mack is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Zegrab closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Zegrab is leaning against Mack and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Mack jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Zegrab walks away with a smile on his face. Mack gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mack Mack. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Zegrab shoots and scores a devastating slam takedown! Mack is unconscious as Zegrab celebrates over his stricken foe!
