The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vermeer misses with an uppercut. Teller saw that one coming.
Vermeer swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Teller counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Teller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Teller wants to free his trapped foot but Vermeer is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Vermeer has a hand on Teller's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Teller takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vermeer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Teller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
