Brooks kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cult Of Personality. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks goes for a double leg but Noguchi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Noguchi continues to drive forward.
Brooks fails with the takedown
and Noguchi counters with a nice uppercut.

Noguchi tries to counter by closing the distance.

Noguchi closes the distance and clinches.

Brooks tightens his grip and picks Noguchi up, before dumping him to the ground. Noguchi manages to land in guard.

Noguchi has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Brooks is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Noguchi breaks from the clinch.
Noguchi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Noguchi cracks Brooks with an open hand slap.

Brooks throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Noguchi was covering up waiting for the punch and Brooks finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Noguchi looking for a triangle here. Brooks is fighting it but it looks tight! Noguchi pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Brooks is tapping out - this one is all over!
