Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alpa Chino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iwan Matwijenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matwijenko has chosen RANDORI! as his entrance music. Chino is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alpa Chino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Iwan Matwijenko!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chino looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Chino is breathing heavily.
Matwijenko looks to land a combination but Chino avoids it well.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Matwijenko.
Matwijenko throws a looping overhand right but Chino ducks down to avoid it.
Iwan Matwijenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matwijenko lunges at Chino with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Chino's hand.

Matwijenko cracks Chino with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Matwijenko has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Chino to stand back up!

Chino is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Matwijenko, right into the meat.
Oh Chino is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chino moves out of range of the strikes.
Chino was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Matwijenko swings widly with a right hand
and Chino counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chino seems to have got his legs back now.
Matwijenko misses the jab.
Nice defenses there by Chino.
Matwijenko feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Chino's calf.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Matwijenko fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Chino checks it well.
Matwijenko connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Chino momentarily.
Matwijenko thuds a left hand into Chino's body.

Matwijenko sends Chino crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Matwijenko is motioning to the referee to let Chino up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Matwijenko throws a nice looking combination but Chino bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Matwijenko lands a brutal uppercut that launches Chino off his feet! Chino tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Iwan Matwijenko!
Iwan Matwijenko decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
