Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Shot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Garner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sebastian Shot had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sebastian Shot!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ron Garner!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shot uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Garner.
Garner with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Shot to score with a decent uppercut.
Shot lands with a nice body kick.
Shot takes a swing at Garner's ribcage but misses.
Garner tries to clinch up but Shot circles away and keeps his distance.

As Shot backs off Garner throws a huge counter combo but Shot manages to avoid it all.

and Shot counters with a nice uppercut.

Shot pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Shot lands with a nice combination. Garner backs away looking to recover.

and Shot counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Shot defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Garner.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shot takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Shot has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Garner is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Shot.
You can see the frustration on Shot's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Shot swings wildly with an uppercut but Garner uses good head movement to avoid it.
Shot's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Shot is trying to force a seperation but Garner has the dominant position.
Garner has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Shot is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Garner is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Shot can't fight it off and eventually Garner manages to take the fight to the floor. Shot looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Shot working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Garner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Garner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
