The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clay throws a head kick that Yuudai semi-blocks.

It looks like Kenta Yuudai has been cut.
Yuudai circles away from the clinch attempt.

Clay lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yuudai circles away quickly and effectively.
Yuudai throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Yuudai drops his hands momentarily and Clay takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Yuudai bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Clay's guard.

A nice leg kick lands there from Clay.
Yuudai shoots for a double leg takedown but Clay sprawls well. He's pushed Yuudai's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
