Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nikki Sixx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Delode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sixx kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Life Is Beautiful. James Delode will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sixx misses with a body shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Delode.
Delode looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sixx is fending him off so far but Delode persists. Nope, Sixx circles away and we're back to standing.
Delode shoots in for a takedown but Sixx shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Delode has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nikki Sixx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Delode.
Sixx swings for the body but Delode moves out of range.
Delode uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sixx.
Delode darts in looking for a takedown but Sixx gets double underhooks and turns Delode into the cage.

Delode misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Sixx shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Delode is trying to defend but Sixx finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
