Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miro Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Butcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butcher has chosen Won't Back Down as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Miro Bang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Butcher!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butcher throws a body punch but Bang moves out of range.
Bang shoots for a takedown but Butcher saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Bang changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Butcher looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bang misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Bang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Butcher struggling a bit here.
Butcher is looking for a sweep.

Bang tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Bang is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Butcher knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
You can see the frustration on Butcher's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Bang tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bang has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bang creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Butcher sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Butcher pushes Bang away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bang gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Bang thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Butcher tries to buck Bang off but Bang is having none of it.

Butcher is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bang off and has taken his back!

You can see the frustration on Bang's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Bang manages to reverse the position and now he's in Butcher's guard. Nice work there by Bang.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bang will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Butcher controls Bang momentarily but Bang frees himself.
Butcher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Butcher is pulling down on Bang's head. It's preventing any offense from Bang, at least for the moment.

Bang is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Butcher wants to sweep here but Bang controlling him for the moment.
Bang wants to pass the guard but Butcher is keeping the position.
Bang throws an elbow that misses. Butcher uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bang's guard. Nice move by Butcher!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bang has Butcher up against the cage in a clinch.
Bang jumps guard but Butcher stands there with Bang around his waist. Bang gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bang managing to block the knees to the body from Butcher.
Butcher is looking to control Bang's arms but Bang gets an underhook and turns him. Now Butcher has his back to the cage.
Bang goes for a takedown in the clinch but Butcher prevents it.
Bang is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Butcher can do to turn this around?

Butcher throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Butcher displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bang.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Butcher! But no joy.
Butcher throws a hook but Bang blocks it.

Butcher throws a jab when Bang was well out of range.
Bang looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Butcher misses with a hook. Bang ducked under it nicely.
Nice straight punches there by Butcher. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Butcher.

Billy Butcher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Butcher has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bang is working away from the top position though.
