Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Booker Potter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Dixon.
Dixon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Dixon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Potter went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Potter gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Dixon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Potter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Booker Potter has been cut.

Dixon has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Potter uses from the top position.

Dixon throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Potter escapes and throws Dixon's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Potter gets to mount! Dixon was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Potter went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Dixon keeps the fight on the outside.
Dixon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

As Dixon looks to move away, Potter throws a big counter combo but Dixon just gets out of the way.
Dixon has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

What can Dixon do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Potter has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Dixon has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Potter tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Potter has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

I've got Dixon winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
