The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Champ takes a jab right on the kisser.
Lainey with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Champ tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lainey manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lainey scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Champ takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Lainey closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Champ! Lainey dives in looking to finish! Champ is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
