Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Dalton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keno Aganovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lou Dalton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Keno Aganovic!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Aganovic.
It looked like Dalton was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Good work by Dalton as he checks the leg kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dalton enables Aganovic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dalton manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Dalton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Aganovic is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Dalton wants to stand but Aganovic is controlling the position.
Dalton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Aganovic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Aganovic darts in and clinches Dalton up against the cage.
Aganovic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Aganovic decides to pull guard.

Aganovic has his foot on Dalton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dalton works his way back into a safe position though.

Aganovic wants to get back to his feet but Dalton is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Dalton is working Aganovic over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dalton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Aganovic drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dalton defends it well.

Aganovic turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Dalton is looking to control Aganovic's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dalton avoid being mounted?
Aganovic is nestled in close to Dalton, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Aganovic working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Aganovic is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Dalton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Aganovic is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Aganovic. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Aganovic moves into the clinch.

Aganovic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Aganovic tries to work over Dalton's front leg with a kick but Dalton checks it.

Aganovic has closed the distance and engaged Dalton in a clinch.
Dalton lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Aganovic backwards.

Aganovic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dalton darts in looking for a takedown but Aganovic gets double underhooks and turns Dalton into the cage.
Dalton shoots in looking for a takedown but Aganovic manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dalton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lou Dalton. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The referee asks Aganovic politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Aganovic prefers to stall for the moment though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Aganovic is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dalton will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Dalton tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Aganovic remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Keno Aganovic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Aganovic shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dalton eats them both and turns towards Aganovic to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Dalton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dalton tries to clinch up but Aganovic circles away and keeps his distance.
Aganovic tries to counter with a clinch but Dalton shakes him off and moves away.
Aganovic cracks Dalton with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Keno Aganovic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Aganovic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
