Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Carlos Gracie and Jimmy Quick. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Jimmy Quick!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Gracie tries to sprawl but Quick drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Gracie is looking for a sweep. Quick is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Quick tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gracie knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Quick stalling away here and it's allowed Gracie to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Gracie is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Quick's guard.

Quick swings around for an armbar but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Quick's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Quick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Quick looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Quick is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Quick can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gracie controls the pace.

Quick lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Gracie has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Quick doesn't defend quickly enough and Gracie has managed to lock this one up! Can Quick escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gracie on a fantastic submission victory.
