Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Baki Hanma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Henley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanma's entrance music is Disl Automatic (feat. K-rino) - Battle Cry. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Hanma.
Hanma tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Henley is able to avoid easily.
Henley chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hanma can pounce on him.
Henley throws a big shot that misses.
Hanma throws out a leg kick but Henley moves out of range and Hanma only half commits.
Henley looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hanma is on top in guard.

Henley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Henley holds on and takes a little breather.

Hanma fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Henley.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hanma attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Good leg kick by Hanma there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Henley counters with a huge left! Hanma is in big trouble! He's backing up but Henley isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hanma from any more damage. A dominating finish by Henley!

Ben Henley gave a mention to Sully's Bar & Grill in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
