Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Tarantino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Smith Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tarantino comes to the cage accompanied by I Am The Greatest by Logic. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarantino tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Smith Jr scores with a sloppy right hand. Tarantino should have avoided that one.
Tarantino tries to clinch there but Smith Jr circles away.
Smith Jr throws a body kick that misses.

Tarantino is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Smith Jr manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tarantino on his heels. He'll look to pass Tarantino's guard now, I'm sure.

It looks like Smith Jr might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Smith Jr drops back looking for a leg! Tarantino is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tarantino manages to kick Smith Jr off! Smith Jr jumps back into Tarantino's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tarantino keeping moving, preventing Smith Jr from controlling successfully.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

It looked like Tarantino was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Smith Jr.
Tarantino is looking to clinch but Smith Jr is avoiding it.
Tarantino doesn't manage to clinch there - Smith Jr circles away.

Smith Jr throws a front kick that sends Tarantino stumbling back into the cage.

Smith Jr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Tarantino tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Peter Smith Jr is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Smith Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tarantino gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smith Jr is refusing to be controlled, as Tarantino sits in half guard.
Smith Jr keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Smith Jr is looking for a sweep. Tarantino is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Smith Jr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tarantino's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tarantino's back!
Smith Jr has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Tarantino! Can he survive? No! He's out! Smith Jr gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
