Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Willis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Lee!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Willis coming out on top.
A looping hook to the body misses from Willis. Lee does a little dance to reset his feet.
Willis scores with the left hand. Lee knows he should have avoided that one.
Lee swats away the attempt to clinch by Willis.
Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Willis was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee.
Lee slaps away a takedown attempt from Willis, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lee doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Jab by Willis.
Willis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Willis blocks a jab.
Lee just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromWillis.
Lee throws a push kick but Willis slaps the foot to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee just misses with a punch to the body.
Willis chopping away at his opponent's legs.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lee has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Willis throws a body shot but no joy.

A swing and a miss from Lee.
Willis takes a swing at Lee's ribcage but misses.
Lee looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Lee throws a hook but Willis avoids it easily.

Willis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lee's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Willis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Willis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Willis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Willis misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Lee connects with a nice looking jab.
Lee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Willis is fending him off so far but Lee persists. Nope, Willis circles away and we're back to standing.
Lee shoots for a double leg takedown but Willis sprawls well. He's pushed Lee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lee moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Willis throws the left hand but Lee avoids the punch easily.

Willis thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Lee if he has to take too many more of those.

Lee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Willis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
