Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Coyote Starrk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Nilsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Coyote Starrk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dennis Nilsen!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starrk slaps away a takedown attempt from Nilsen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Horrible takedown attempt by Nilsen or perhaps it was just good defense by Starrk, which made it look bad.
Starrk appears to be looking for a big counter.
Starrk throws a right and a left that both miss.
Despite the aggression on Nilsen's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Nilsen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Nilsen looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nilsen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Nilsen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Starrk trying to control the position here.

Nilsen won't allow Starrk to sweep him here.
Nilsen wants to control from the top but Starrk keeps moving.
Nilsen tries to free his leg and advance position but Starrk is retaining full guard.
Starrk preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Starrk looking to control.
Starrk keeping moving, preventing Nilsen from controlling successfully.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Starrk wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Nilsen checks a leg kick.
Nilsen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Starrk counters with a one-two to the body.
Coyote Starrk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Nilsen.
Nilsen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Starrk.
Nilsen with the counter takedown but Starrk avoids it easily.
Nilsen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Starrk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nilsen moves away.
Nilsen changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Starrk stuffs the takedown.
As Nilsen backs away, Starrk returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Starrk pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Nilsen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Starrk napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Starrk tries to improve position but can't.
Starrk struggling a bit here.
Nilsen has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at BLOODSPORT GYM. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Nilsen is staying tight to Starrk's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Starrk tries to buck Nilsen off but Nilsen is having none of it.
Starrk struggling a bit here.
Nilsen trying to control the position but Starrk is working away.
Nilsen remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Starrk tries to improve position but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Starrk struggling a bit here.
Starrk tries to buck Nilsen off but Nilsen is having none of it.
Starrk can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nilsen tries to score with some ground and pound. Starrk controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Nilsen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Starrk keeps working.
Starrk managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Nilsen.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nilsen has control of an arm but Starrk manages to advance to Nilsen's back!
Nilsen is in bad spot here.
Nilsen keeps trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Coyote Starrk will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Nilsen misses with a takedown attempt
and Starrk counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Starrk lands a big head kick that sends Nilsen tumbling to the mat! Starrk takes a step backwards and waves Nilsen back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Dennis Nilsen has been cut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Nilsen shoots in but Starrk avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nilsen checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Starrk tries a low kick but Nilsen avoids it.
Nilsen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Starrk defends it nicely.
Coyote Starrk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Nilsen.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nilsen has his takedown stuffed
and Starrk connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nilsen fails with the takedown
letting Starrk counter with a right hand.


Nilsen is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Starrk ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Nilsen clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Coyote Starrk!
