Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Snitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razbinos Udric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Snitch had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Snitch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Razbinos Udric!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snitch bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Udric's head backwards.
Snitch keeps the fight on the outside.
Snitch lunges at Udric with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Udric's hand.
Snitch's corner calls for a 1-2. Snitch obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Snitch shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Udric is trying to defend but Snitch finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Snitch is controlling the pace.
Udric tries to get to full guard but Snitch has control of the leg.

Snitch wants to pass to mount but Udric is defending the position.
Snitch perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Snitch works his foot free and advances to mount.
Udric is looking to improve his position but Snitch isn't that keen on the idea.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Snitch controlling the pace for now.
Udric sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Snitch perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Udric wants to control but Snitch is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Udric is trying to control but Snitch manages to pass to mount!
Udric wants to hold on but Snitch pushes him away.
Snitch sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Udric told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Udric is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snitch takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Snitch seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Udric for as long as he can get away with.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Snitch lands a decent elbow from side control.
Snitch controls the position from side control.
Udric is trying to work for a sweep but Snitch has mounted him!

Udric tries to hold on but Snitch postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snitch content just to control the position here.

Snitch is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Udric can do to turn this around?
Udric tries to reverse the position but Snitch maintains control.
Udric is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Snitch has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Snitch.
Udric fails with an attempt to clinch.
Udric tries to clinch there but Snitch circles away.
Jon Snitch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Snitch gets tackled into the cage by Udric. Udric maintains the clinch.
Udric tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Udric pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Udric tries to clinch up but Snitch circles away and keeps his distance.

Snitch throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Udric was covering up waiting for the punch and Snitch finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Snitch stays in close to Udric's body and controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Snitch.

Jon Snitch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Udric wants to hit a switch here but Snitch passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Udric there!

Jon Snitch is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Snitch is stinking the place up with his stalling.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Udric is wriggling around trying to escape.
Snitch tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Udric tries to get back to half guard but can't.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jon Snitch showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Snitch, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
