Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harris Stafford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Hartt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris Stafford has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stafford shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hartt as he avoids it easily.
Doug Hartt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stafford shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Hartt pushes Stafford off and gets back to his feet.

Hartt moves into range and clinches up with Stafford.

Hartt lands a takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stafford is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hartt is controlling him.
Stafford is trying to keep Hartt in close.
Hartt looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Stafford will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hartt decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Stafford, up you get!

Stafford really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Stafford drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hartt gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hartt tries to break free but Stafford pushes him back against the cage.

Stafford has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hartt is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Stafford.

Hartt wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stafford, who protects the arm well.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Hartt manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stafford on his heels. He'll look to pass Stafford's guard now, I'm sure.

Stafford has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Hartt is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hartt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Hartt fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Stafford to the ground. Hartt is now in Stafford's guard.
Harris Stafford has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Doug Hartt is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Stafford has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hartt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well Hartt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
