Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Dorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Vale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vale has chosen Motorhead-Iron Fist as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vale scores with a leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vale, as that shot connected.
Dorn smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Simon Vale has been cut.
Dorn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dorn misses with a hook.
Vale unleashes a big counter combination but Dorn bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Dorn throws a jab when Vale was well out of range.
Vale misses with a wild body shot.
Dorn tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Dorn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Vale uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dorn.
Dorn keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Vale uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dorn.
Vale just misses with a punch to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dorn fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vale, pushing him back against the cage.
Dorn is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
A body shot lands from Vale.
Dorn is trying to push Vale away but Vale has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Vale tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vale keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dorn's efforts to push away.

Dorn breaks from the clinch.

Dorn lands a big uppercut and Vale crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Vale looks OK. Dorn waves Vale back to his feet!
Vale takes a swing at Dorn's ribcage but misses.
Vale's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dorn under the eye.

Dorn lands a big right hand that sends Vale crashing to the mat! Dorn stays standing though and waves Vale back to his feet!

Vale is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dorn throws a leg kick that is checked

and Vale counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dorn won't be happy with that.
Vale is still in real trouble! Can Dorn finish him?

Vale decides to stand back up. Vale steps back and let's Dorn get back to his feet.
A big right from Dorn misses.
Vale backs away from a small jab... but Dorn lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Vale crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Dorn with a spectacular finish!
