Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beckett Bellwether (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nova Zigaman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bellwether might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to John Lennon - Give Peace A Chance. The crowd seem to be enjoying Zigaman's choice of entrance music: Cameo - Word Up!. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zigaman feints and then cracks Bellwether's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bellwether down.
Bellwether stuffs the takedown attempt from Zigaman. Zigaman gets slowly back to his feet.
Bellwether is looking to clinch but Zigaman is avoiding it.
An inside leg kick lands from Zigaman.
Bellwether throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bellwether bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bellwether wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Zigaman, who protects the arm well.

Bellwether throws the kick towards the body but Zigaman avoids it.

Bellwether tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zigaman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bellwether somewhat.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Bellwether here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Zigaman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bellwether.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
