And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Butch Harris Jr!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pederson tries to clinch but Harris Jr is having none of it.

Pederson is looking for a sweep. Harris Jr is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Harris Jr winds up and cracks Pederson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Harris Jr moves into range and clinches up with Pederson.
Harris Jr tries to break the clinch but Pederson is controlling the position.

Harris Jr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Pederson is looking to regain half guard here but Harris Jr keeps moving and retains side control.

Harris Jr rushes Pederson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Pederson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Pederson swings wildly with an uppercut but Harris Jr uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pederson tries to score a body lock takedown but Harris Jr shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Harris Jr tightens his grip and picks Pederson up, before dumping him to the ground. Pederson manages to land in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pederson regains half guard.

Pederson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Harris Jr stands up from Pederson's guard - Harris Jr perhaps looking for a knockout.

Harris Jr throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Pedersons head.

We've been hearing good reports from Pederson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Butch Harris Jr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Harris Jr is trying to drag Pederson to the mat but Pederson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Pederson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Harris Jr up against the cage.
Butch Harris Jr is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Norman Pederson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Butch Harris Jr.

Well Harris Jr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
