Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeremy Sullivan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Castor Rollins!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rollins stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.


It looks like Jeremy Sullivan has been cut.

Rollins lands a nice hook to Sullivan's body. Sullivan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Rollins got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sullivan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rollins has managed to get both his arms back between Sullivan's legs - danger averted.

Sullivan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rollins is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Sullivan has his foot on Rollins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rollins works his way back into a safe position though.

and Rollins counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Rollins lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rollins works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Rollins cracks Sullivan with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rollins has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sullivan to stand back up!

Sullivan drops back looking for a leg! Rollins is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rollins manages to kick Sullivan off! Sullivan jumps back into Rollins's guard.
Sullivan is fighting to break Rollins's control of his arms but Rollins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Rollins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rollins shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rollins showed some decent athleticism there.
My spies in Thunder MMA inform me that Rollins has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Castor Rollins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rollins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
