The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saucydoe drives through with a takedown into guard.
Richmond looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Richmond wants to stand and escape but Saucydoe is having none of it.
Richmond punching from the bottom - just letting Saucydoe know he's still in a fight.

Saucydoe throws an elbow but Richmond slips to the side and avoids it well.

Saucydoe tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Saucydoe has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Richmond tries to buck Saucydoe off but Saucydoe is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Saucydoe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Richmond keeps working.

Saucydoe jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Richmond is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Richmond and Saucydoe has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Richmond throws a punch from the bottom, which has left him a bit exposed here… Saucydoe has an arm triangle now. This could be big trouble for Richmond. He's out! He's out cold! The ref pulls Saucydoe off and Saucydoe celebrates with his corner.
