Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Porfirio Francis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pipe Surfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Surfer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Francis's guard.
Francis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Francis is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Surfer presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Francis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Francis has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Surfer uses from the top position.
Surfer trying to control but Francis is working from the bottom.
Surfer lands a couple of elbows.
Surfer working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Francis's head.
Surfer is working Francis over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Francis is rocked!
Surfer gets to his feet and stands over Francis, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Francis felt that one! Surfer unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Francis from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pipe Surfer!
