Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Linken Bracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrej Madai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Linken Bracken is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bracken has a takedown stuffed.
Bracken doesn't manage to clinch there - Madai circles away.
Madai tries to counter with a clinch but Bracken shakes him off and moves away.
Bracken dives in and grabs Madai's left leg, looking for a takedown. Madai pushes down on Bracken's head and hops out.

Bracken looking to score a takedown here. Madai is defending well but Bracken drives through and ends up in Madai's guard.

Madai is continuing to stall.
Madai is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Madai's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Bracken is trying to break free.

Madai will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bracken up against the cage.

Madai breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Madai throws a head kick but Bracken moves out of range.
Good shot there by Madai.
Bracken tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Madai was well out of range. Poor timing from Bracken.
Madai keeps the fight on the outside.
Madai displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bracken.

Madai shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bracken's guard.
Bracken is looking to stand back up but Madai counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bracken.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Madai takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Bracken tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Still in half guard, Madai seems content to control.
Bracken wants to get back to full guard.
Madai seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Madai has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Madai accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Bracken tries to clinch up.

Madai fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bracken sprawls well initially but Madai persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Andrej Madai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Bracken's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Bracken gets caught flat footed, as Madai shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Madai is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Bracken wants to sweep but no luck.

Bracken has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Madai can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Madai has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bracken is proving hard to escape from.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Madai moves out of range as Bracken throws a body kick.
Madai rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bracken moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bracken fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Madai closes the distance and clinches.

Madai manages to break the clinch.
Madai changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bracken tries to avoid it but Madai manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bracken to the ground. Bracken escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Madai counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Madai turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Madai manages to end up in side control.
You can see the frustration on Bracken's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Madai decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Bracken tries to score a power double leg takedown but Madai sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bracken somewhat.

Bracken scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Madai manages to mount him!

Bracken covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
