And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kelvin Gastelum!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Darius Henderson and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gastelum defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Browne.
Browne fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Gastelum is out of range.
Gastelum lands a slapping body shot.
Browne has his takedown stuffed
and Gastelum connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kelvin Gastelum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gastelum takes a kick to the side of the head.
Gastelum rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Browne moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gastelum looks to land a combination but Browne avoids it well.

It looks like Derrick Browne has been cut.
Browne is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gastelum sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

A jab-cross combination lands for Gastelum and sends Browne crashing to the mat! Gastelum follows him down to the mat - Browne regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gastelum's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
It looks like Gastelum might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Gastelum stops Browne from getting back to his feet.
Browne seems to have got his legs back now.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Gastelum throws a wild body kick that Browne sees coming a mile off.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Browne.
Gastelum unleashes a big counter combination but Browne bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Browne drops his hands momentarily and Gastelum takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A head kick misses from Gastelum.
Browne lands an overhand right.
Gastelum fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Browne takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Browne shoots in but no luck this time.
Browne is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gastelum sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Browne is breathing heavily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gastelum looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Browne moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Gastelum has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
The crowd cheers as Gastelum lands an impressive looking overhand right. Browne doesn't seem phased though.
Browne takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gastelum feints a jab promting Browne to slip. Gastelum then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Browne slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Browne finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Gastelum's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Browne falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
