The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Richards loads up on a big right hand but Ramos slips the punch.
Ramos uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Richards.
Ramos is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Richards with a body shot.
Ramos looks to land a left hand but Richards moved out of range nicely.
Richards throws a right hand that misses
letting Ramos counter with a right hand.
Richards moves out of range of the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ramos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Richards moves away.
Richards scores with a sloppy right hand. Ramos should have avoided that one.
It looks like Antonio Ramos has been cut.
Nice uppercut lands for Richards. That snapped Ramos's head back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Richards misses with a jab to the body
and Ramos counters with a left to the body.
Ramos sends Richards crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ramos is motioning to the referee to let Richards up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Richards is rocked!
Andre Richards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Richards throws a lazy uppercut
and Ramos scores with a counter punch that sends Richards to the canvas! Ramos smells blood - he's punishing Richards with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Richards has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
