The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidd walks into a left hand.

It looks like Calvin Kidd has been cut.
Wood lands with a nice body kick.
Wood tries to clinch but Kidd moves away
and Kidd counters with a one-two to the body.

Wood moves into range and clinches up with Kidd.
Wood connects with a knee to the head.
Wood manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Kidd tries to circle away but Wood has him pinned against the cage.
Wood is trying to stall.
Wood lands a knee to the head.

Kidd is rocked!
Wood dips a shoulder and cracks Kidd with a mighty uppercut! Kidd falls back against the cage and Wood unloads with a barrage of strikes! Kidd is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Wood screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
