The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabin lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Marcos Machado has been cut.
Sabin misses with a few strikes there.
Machado doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sabin counters with a stiff right hand.
Sabin misses with a wild combination.
Machado drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sabin defends it well.
Machado doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sabin counters with a left and a right that stings Machado.
Machado dives in for a single leg takedown but Sabin sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Sage Sabin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcos Machado.
Machado shoots in for a double leg but Sabin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Machado will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sabin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Machado walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sabin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Machado eats them both and turns towards Sabin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Sabin lands a hook that stumbles Machado back into the cage. Sabin follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Machado to the canvas! Sabin pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Machado has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
