The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pellervoinen has time to react.

It looks like Sampsa Pellervoinen has been cut.
Darius Miles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miles throws a right hand that misses
and Pellervoinen counters with a straight right hand.
Miles takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Pellervoinen lands with a hook. Miles tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Miles seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

It looks like Darius Miles has been cut.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Pellervoinen and Miles goes tumbling to the canvas! Pellervoinen follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Pellervoinen cracks Miles with an uppercut from hell and Miles crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Pellervoinen's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
