Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitzi Glozman (ranked 1012 p4p, 35 weight class) and Jimi Powell (ranked 608 p4p, 24 weight class). Powell has chosen 8 Mile as his entrance music. Mitzi Glozman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powell fails with the takedown.
Glozman finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
We've been told by Glozman's head coaches at LOD: Black Label that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Powell shoots in but no luck this time.
Glozman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Powell was well out of range. Poor timing from Glozman.
Glozman moves in looking to clinch but Powell pushes him off.
Powell has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Glozman is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Powell has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Glozman after a bit of a struggle.

Powell jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Glozman walks away with a smile on his face. Powell gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

With the fighters up against the cage, Glozman throws an elbow but misses.
Glozman doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Powell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Glozman scores with a jab. Powell acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Powell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

It looked like Glozman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Powell tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Glozman lands a head kick. Powell smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Glozman gets tackled into the cage by Powell. Powell maintains the clinch.
Glozman tries to land knees in the clinch but Powell avoids the damage to the body.
Powell tries for a takedown but Glozman manages to get underhooks.
Glozman is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Glozman presses Powell against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Glozman unloads a knee to the mid-section. Powell lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Glozman creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Glozman obliges.

Powell is rocked!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Powell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Glozman is fending him off so far but Powell persists. Nope, Glozman circles away and we're back to standing.
Powell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Glozman.
Powell takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Glozman clinches up with Powell and pushes him back against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Glozman.

Powell is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Glozman gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Powell is breathing heavily.
Powell goes for a double leg but Glozman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Glozman continues to drive forward.

Glozman punishes Powell's body with a nice straight punch.
Glozman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Powell can do to turn this around?
Glozman scores with the left hand. Powell knows he should have avoided that one.
Glozman feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Powell sprawling to the canvas! Powell rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Glozman finish him?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Powell switches off momentarily and Glozman cracks him with a monster right hand! Powell topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Glozman dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Glozman!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mitzi Glozman!
Mitzi Glozman decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
