Wilder rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but North moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

North needs to keep his hands up - Wilder had a free shot at his head there.
North closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wilder wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

That was a close round but I would say that Miles North will probably get the nod.

North throws a low kick but it's checked well by Wilder.

North dives in for a single leg takedown but Wilder sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
North changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wilder tries to avoid it but North manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wilder to the ground. Wilder escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miles North. That's going to take a lot out of him.
