Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gomu throws an overhand right that lands on Brown's shoulder, as Brown tries to avoid the shot.
Brown swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gomu connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brown. Brown circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gomu darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Brown throws a poor cross that misses
and Gomu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Brown stuns Gomu with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gomu bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Brown's head.

Brown appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Gomu seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A swing and a miss from Gomu.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Brown! But no joy.
Gomu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Gomu feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Brown sprawling to the canvas! Brown rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gomu finish him?!
Brown is still on wobbly legs! Can Gomu finish him?
Brown looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gomu is fending him off so far but Brown persists. Nope, Gomu circles away and we're back to standing.
Gomu throws a jab but it's blocked by Brown.
Leroy Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gomu tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance.
Brown seems to have recovered his senses.
Gomu swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
Brown lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Brown slips a jab and a cross from Gomu.

Gomu gets caught napping as Brown dives in and scores a takedown. Gomu manages to retain guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Brown content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown throws a strike but Gomu rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Gomu is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Gomu will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Brown has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Brown wants to get back to his feet but Gomu is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Brown pulls Gomu in close to prevent any damage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Gomu is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Gomu has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Brown tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gomu swings wildly with an uppercut but Brown uses good head movement to avoid it.

That kick from Brown tenderised Gomu's leg. Gomu is trying to keep his angry face on.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gomu lands with a hook. Brown tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Nice straight punches there by Brown. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Brown.

Brown misses with a looping right.
Gomu looks to score with a jab to the body but Brown is just out of range.
Gomu tries to close the distance and clinch but Brown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Gomu sends Brown crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gomu is motioning to the referee to let Brown up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Brown there as he acknowledges the shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brown, as that shot connected.

Gomu is rocked!
Brown lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Gomu head around and knocks him out cold! Brown hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Leroy Brown!
A relieved looking Leroy Brown thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
