Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scat Muncher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Howe Dooer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Muncher rushes Dooer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Dooer wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Muncher decides to pull guard.
Muncher pulls Dooer in to control the position.
Dooer looking to sit in guard and control but Muncher gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Dooer is trying to keep Muncher in close.
Muncher seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Muncher has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Dooer feints a jab promting Muncher to slip. Dooer then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Muncher slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Dooer gets tackled into the cage by Muncher. Muncher maintains the clinch.
Dooer is trying to push Muncher away but Muncher has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Muncher tries to pull guard but Dooer forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Muncher wants to take the fight to the mat but Dooer manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Muncher moves into the clinch.

Muncher has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Dooer is trying to keep an underhook but Muncher manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Muncher could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Dooer stalks Muncher and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Muncher's face. Muncher staggers backwards, shaken.

Muncher doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Dooer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Muncher stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Muncher remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Muncher dives in and grabs Dooer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dooer pushes down on Muncher's head and hops out.

I would just about give that final round to Howe Dooer.
