Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eusebio Sullivan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kay McSwag!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McSwag tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sullivan swivels and escapes.
McSwag tries a head kick but it misses.
Sullivan stuffs the takedown attempt from McSwag. McSwag gets slowly back to his feet.
Sullivan stuffs the takedown.
Eusebio Sullivan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kay McSwag.
McSwag darts in looking for a takedown but Sullivan gets double underhooks and turns McSwag into the cage.
Sullivan seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sullivan.
McSwag throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Sullivan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
McSwag has a takedown stuffed.
Sullivan shoots in looking for a takedown but McSwag manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sullivan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

McSwag closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

It looked like Sullivan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

McSwag drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sullivan gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Sullivan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McSwag shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sullivan but Sullivan pushes him off and we're back to square one.

McSwag gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sullivan to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Sullivan stands and steps away. McSwag gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

McSwag fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sullivan, pushing him back against the cage.
McSwag is trying to pull guard but Sullivan has him pressed against the cage.
McSwag looking to stall.
McSwag misses with a body punch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eusebio Sullivan.
Well Sullivan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
