Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Zambrana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micke Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zambrana kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Impact is Imminent. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zambrana tries to clinch up but Wagner circles away and keeps his distance.
Wagner looks to land a right hand but Zambrana moved out of range.
And Zambrana counters with a quick kick to the body but Wagner blocks it.
Wagner dips to his left and cracks Zambrana with an uppercut!

It looks like Mario Zambrana has been cut.
Wagner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zambrana.
Zambrana tries to clinch there but Wagner circles away.
Zambrana throws a series of punches but Wagner moves out of range.

Zambrana clinches up against the cage.

Wagner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wagner avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wagner keeps the fight on the outside.
Zambrana tries a head kick but it misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Wagner! But no joy.
Zambrana closes the distance but Wagner moves to the side
and Wagner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A little feinted left hand from Zambrana on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Zambrana moves in looking to clinch but Wagner pushes him off.
Wagner lands with a hook. Zambrana tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Zambrana takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Zambrana drives through and clinches with Wagner against the cage.

Wagner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wagner sizes up Zambrana with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Zambrana tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wagner swats him away and circles back towards the center.
