Nicholson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Dominick Nicholson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Wood misses.
Wood throws a series of punches but Nicholson moves out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Wood using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Nicholson is breathing heavily.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wood takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Wood gets through Nicholson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

A very excited looking Maddox Wood rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
