Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Numbers Holman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Whitehead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holman blocks a head kick by Whitehead.

Whitehead rushes Holman and presses him up against the cage.
Whitehead creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Holman's defenses.

It looks like Numbers Holman has been cut.
Whitehead lands an uppercut.
Whitehead stalling against the cage.

Whitehead escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Holman goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Whitehead tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Holman defends well and Whitehead ends up having to push Holman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Whitehead throws a nice looking combination but Holman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nice sprawl there from Whitehead as Holman shoots in.
A nice side step and Whitehead releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Numbers Holman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Holman shoots in for a takedown but Whitehead shows good takedown defense.
Despite the aggression on Whitehead's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Whitehead throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Whitehead slaps away a takedown attempt from Holman, before circling back to the center of the mat.
As Holman backs off Whitehead throws a huge counter combo but Holman manages to avoid it all.

Holman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Whitehead tries to avoid it but Holman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Whitehead to the ground. Whitehead escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Whitehead pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Whitehead takes the fight into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Whitehead stuffs the takedown attempt from Holman. Holman gets slowly back to his feet.
Whitehead lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Holman is rocked!
Holman backs away from a small jab... but Whitehead lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Holman crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Whitehead with a spectacular finish!
